What Information We Collect

Who We Share Your Information With
We do not currently sell, rent or trade your personal information to any third party. If this changes in the future, we will update this policy and notify you by email in advance, giving you the opportunity to opt out before any such change takes effect.
We share data only in the following limited circumstances:
- AI model providers — your search queries are processed by third-party AI services including Anthropic (Claude), Google (Gemini), OpenAI (ChatGPT), xAI (Grok) and Meta (Llama). Queries are sent without your personal account information attached. Each provider has their own privacy policy governing how they handle query data.
- Hosting infrastructure — Hostinger processes data as part of hosting our servers. They act as a data processor under our instructions.
- Legal requirements — we may disclose information if required by law, court order or to protect the rights and safety of Valuara or its users.

Affiliate Links & Third-Party Retailers
Valuara participates in affiliate programmes including the Amazon Associates Programme. When you click a product link and make a purchase, we may receive a small commission at no additional cost to you. We do not share your personal data with retailers — affiliate tracking is handled through anonymous click-through links only. Any purchase you make is governed by the retailer's own privacy policy.
Valuara uses a minimal approach to cookies and browser storage:
- Essential cookies — used to keep you logged in and maintain your session. These are strictly necessary and cannot be disabled without breaking the service.
- localStorage — used to save your favourites, preferences and settings on your own device. This data never leaves your device and cannot be accessed by us or any third party.
We do not use tracking cookies, advertising cookies, or any third-party analytics cookies. We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel or any behavioural tracking tools.
If we introduce any analytics or tracking tools in the future, we will update this policy and display a cookie consent notice before doing so.

How Long We Keep Your Data
We retain your account data for as long as your account is active. If you delete your account, we will delete your personal information within 30 days, except where we are required to retain it for legal or security purposes. Anonymised usage data (with no personal identifiers) may be retained indefinitely for service improvement purposes.

How We Protect Your Data
We implement industry-standard security measures to protect your information, including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure server infrastructure through Hostinger, and access controls limiting who can access user data. However, no method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure. We encourage you to use a strong, unique password for your Valuara account.
We never store passwords in plain text. All passwords are hashed using industry-standard cryptographic methods before storage.

Valuara is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 13. If we become aware that we have collected data from a child under 13, we will delete it immediately and terminate the associated account. Valuara is operated from Canada. If you access our service from outside Canada — including from the UK, EU, USA or Australia — your data may be transferred to and processed in Canada.
